Third wave has reached a plateau in the Western Cape

The third wave appears to have reached a plateau in the Western Cape at a level equivalent to that attained in the second wave. COVID-19 infections are still on an increasing trend in KwaZulu Natal.


The trend in COVID-19 hospital admissions and deaths as graphed below would suggest that the third wave has reached a plateau in the Western Cape at a level that is marginally lower than that achieved in the second wave.
